I think going with the warm colors was a good choice, it puts some life into it and adds to the humor. I don't know how well it would reproduce in black and white though.
Try expanding on your font choices... if this is meant to be satirical, then take into consideration your choices of alignment of the images and lines of copy. Is this meant to be representative of campiness? If so, consider font choices that John Waters would make- go totally subversive. Mock something without the immediate or obvious notion that you are mocking it. Make a play on the idea that you want people to look at a logo a few hundred times before they realize that it is satire- how can you get this Mad Magazine message past peoples' defenses? What words can you use other than FAKE or AMBIGUOUS? What plain English words have the exact same feeling to them- CONNOTE the idea of FAKE or AMBIGUOUS without definitively using those words.
